Hot Fudge Sauce

1/2 c. butter 
3 c. sugar
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk 
4 (1-oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
dash of salt 


Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar, evaporated milk and salt and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool slightly then pour hot fudge into blender and blend for 5 minutes (This makes the texture soo incredibly smooth and creamy and to die for so don't skip it!!!) Keeps well in fridge for a month or so (If you can make it last that long!!!)

I gave these out in glass jars for Christmas and people loved it.
