Another Pinterest success!! The best non-casserole broccoli I've ever had and I"ll never go back.
Take your heads of broccoli, wash them, dry them, cut them up. Drizzle a bit of olive oil onto a cookie sheet. Toss the broccoli around to get all happy. Sprinkle them with good salt (I still love Real Salt from Utah - which you can get a lot of places like Whole Foods - but kosher salt will do also.) and cracked pepper. You can add a number of herbs here - lemon pepper seasoning, soy sauce, cracked pepper flakes, minced garlic - you get the idea. We love us some dairy products around here so I sprinkled on a bit of Parmesan cheese. Not very much though.
Drizzle a bit more olive oil and then put them into a pre-heated 425 degree oven and let roast for 15-20 minutes or until browned.
