These are really good homemade pancakes - and to add chocolate chips makes it like a dessert. Dessert AND breakfast for dinner! Win win! This was the first time using my stove's built in griddle and I think it's a keeper.
3/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 c. all purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Cooking spray

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk egg and butter into "soured" milk. Combine wet and dry mixtures and whisk until lumps are gone.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Pour 1/4 - 1/2 cupfuls of batter and cook on each side until golden brown.
