I have come across a couple of really good cleaning solutions that I want to remember.
For clothes, use 1 part blue Dawn dish soap and 2 parts hydrogen peroxide. It gets out everything - even grease stains.
For cleaning, and this can be spot cleaning on carpets or couches, or just cleaning floors/walls, etc, use powdered tide, bleach and warm water. The portions are:
1 gallon water
1/3 c. bleach
1 tsp powdered tide (I probably add more than this)
1/3 c. bleach
1 tsp powdered tide (I probably add more than this)
4 c. water
4 tsp. bleach
1/2 tsp powdered tide
4 tsp. bleach
1/2 tsp powdered tide
It is important that it is powdered Tide and not the liquid because the powder has surfactants in it that are cleaning machines.
