Smores bars

These delicious friends were introduced to us this past summer at Aspen Grove. Super easy and a huge hit wherever we take them.

1/2 c. unsalted butter
1 1/2 bags marshmallows - big or little
1 box of golden graham cereal (buy the store brand - way cheaper)
1-2 c. of chocolate chips
Another 1/2-1 c. mini marshmallows

In a large pot, melt the butter and mix in the 1 1/2 bags of marshmallows until smooth and creamy.
Remove from heat and pour in the golden grahams. Here is where you can get creative - either add the chocolate chips (what I do) and mix or wait until it cools and attempt to mix them in (too hard in my book). The sooner you add the chocolate chips, the more they will melt. When that is all stirred up, add the extra mini marshmallows. Pour it all into a greased 9x13 pan. Let cool, cut and serve.
